Product Description

The Scriptures say, “There is one body and Spirit . . . one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all . . .” (Ephesians 4:4–5). That said, there are many different paths that lead to the one body of Christ, the Church. Some paths are filled with persecution and require tremendous courage. One example is the path belonging to Fr. John Fleming. Agnostic in his early to mid teens, John underwent a conversion and was eventually ordained in the Anglican Church. However, throughout his ministry he remained concerned about the question of authority in the Church and where it ultimately lay. He witnessed significant changes in official Anglican doctrines, such as the remarriage of divorced persons and the ordination of women. This led Fr. Fleming to reexamine his own position. See how the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas, the study of Church history, the Second Vatican Council’s documents, and the Scriptures helped him respond to Our Lord’s call and make the courageous decision to come into full communion with Christ and his Catholic Church.
